Many of our products are covered by insurances. Some exceptions are bathroom and bedroom safety equipment. Also, compression garments for vascular disease or lymphedema are not covered by some insurances, compression strength and diagnosis are key to the approval process.
To verify coverage, patients must have a prescription or a Doctor Order Form (a form that Medicare requires, much like a prescription with some additional information) and an insurance card that is active. For insurance coverage on some mobility pieces of equipment (e.g. wheelchairs), an evaluation by a Physical Therapist and/or an in home assessment may be necessary.
